Medium waves, white water and 3-5feet drop will require experienced paddling skills for Grade III rafters in Kaudiyala. If you are rafting Grade IV, you will experience large waves, continuous rapids, large rocks and hazards and considerable drop. Maneuvering with advanced whitewater experience is must. You can pull alongside at times when you reach sandy beaches. Grade IV+ rapid ‘The wall’ is in between Kaudiyala to Marine Drive and Shivpuri.
On both sides of Kaudiyala are the Himalayan ranges richly covered with oak, pine and fir trees; at some places you will see villages and beautiful meadows and the springs falling down the mountain walls will energize you. In the forests, wildlife like – leopard, monkey, spotted deer and others can be seen at a far distance. Multi-colored butterflies in the flowering bushes add to the scenery.
